🧐 Why Store Data?
After careful consideration, we decided that storing data in the cloud is the only way to maximize users’ security and ease of use. Here’s why:

  1. Access Across Devices: By storing your data on our secure servers, we enable you to access your journal entries from multiple devices. This allows you to start an entry on your smartphone and finish it on your laptop, providing a seamless user experience.
  2. Data Protection: While user-based encryption is secure, it carries the risk of data loss if the password is lost. By storing your data on our servers, we ensure that even if you lose access to a device or forget your password, your log entries are not permanently lost.
  3. Reliability: Browser-based storage services can sometimes be unreliable and lead to data loss. By securely storing your data on Google Firestore, a trusted storage provider, we ensure that your data is safely protected.
  4. Information We Collect
In order to provide our Services, we may collect the following types of information:
  • User-Provided Information: When you create an account or use our services, you provide us with personally identifiable information, such as your e-mail address.

  1. Use of Information
We use the information we collect for a number of purposes and these are to provide and improve our services:
  2. Provision of Services: The information we collect is necessary for us to provide our services. This may be used to provide access to SanalAvukat, to personalize your experience and to show you your log entries again.
  3. Maintenance of Services: We use information to keep our services running smoothly. This includes using technical information about your devices and your interactions with the services to resolve issues, ensure compliance, and maintain the continuity of our services.
  4. Improving Services: With anonymized data, we identify trends, track user behavior and understand how our users interact with SanalAvukat. This allows us to identify areas for improvement, develop new features and optimize the user experience.
  5. Development of New Services: The information collected can help us develop new ideas and provide innovative solutions. This information helps us understand what users value and helps us develop new services to meet user needs.
  6. Protecting SanalAvukat and Our Users: Some information is used for security to protect our application and our users. For example, it may be used to verify accounts, prevent fraudulent activity, enforce our terms and conditions, and comply with legal requirements.
  7. Delivering Personalized Content: We may use your data to personalize your experience on SanalAvukat. This may consist of remembering your settings, suggesting relevant features, or showing you content relevant to your interests.
  8. Third Party Services
We use various third party services to provide, improve, maintain and promote our Services:
  • Google Firestore: We use Firestore, a trusted data storage provider operated by Google, to store your data. Your data is encrypted both in transit and at rest.
  • Mixpanel, LogRocket and Sentry: These tools track user behavior to help us understand how you use our app, improve our services and fix bugs. Sensitive data such as log entries are not sent to these services.
  • OpenAI: We use OpenAI for advanced computational tasks, including artificial intelligence operations and language processing. Sensitive data is anonymized before being processed through these services.
  1. Non-Disclosure of Sensitive Log Data
SanalAvukat is firmly committed to protecting your sensitive log data. It is against our ethics and company principles to share, sell or distribute your sensitive data to third parties. We will only do so when we are legally obliged to do so.
